CHECKING YOUR INVITATION…
We're cleaning the mold from our VHS tapes to be displayed in a brand new archive of all things OBJECT:PARADISE. Regular programming resumes on opening night.

A statement from the collective
On 16-06-2026, we were notified of the permanent deletion of the OBJECT:PARADISE YouTube channel. In a single, automated sweep, our archive of the Prague underground's history, poetics, and experimental film was erased. Furthermore, we have been explicitly prohibited from creating any future channels.
Under the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms of this scale are legally required to provide transparent moderation, clear justifications, and access to actual human review when a digital livelihood or archive is destroyed. However, even after consultation with agencies operating under the DSA, we have been unable to reach any human response from YouTube.
But as frustrating as this news is, it didn't surprise us.
In fact, it is the exact reason we formed the OBJECT:PARADISE collective in the first place — to curate and create collective agency in the celebration of public art. Today's platforms steal this agency from us through their algorithmic biases and automated content control, which directly conflicts with our Manifesto. So we decided to take the L and to do something with it.
We have completely redesigned the OBJECT:PARADISE Archive with four objectives in mind:
And, perhaps most importantly, to keep it free, algorithmically independent, and weird.
In 08-2026, we launched the beta version of the site to select users. The official launch is on 31-10-2026 at The Prague Microfestival, Kampus Hybernská, doors at 18:00.
Thanks for all the support.

Actually, this is a piece that Ásgeir and I both wrote over the last six years that we've known each other. It's composed of messages sent back and forth. The sound is falling. January 21st, 2019 Hey buddy, how are things? You're nearby, my phone tells me. The cellar bar, I'm guessing. I guess the first question is, do we have enough poetry to fill the evening? This is exactly what I'm thinking. Hey buddy, how are things? Schedules aren't playing in my favor, so this is good. You've simplified my plans. Might take a short pint break in an hour or so with you if you want to.
I'm wondering if we should start a writing group for poets here in Prague with the sole purpose of helping everybody. And the way we could do this is meet 40 hours a year. Hey buddy, how are things? I have a vague recollection of seeing a socket in one of the stairways of that cellar bar. We can stay there and write there. And how long is it bright outside these days? The internet says until 9, which sounds right. I'm on my way outside to bring cash to that cellar bar. You're right. A credit card machine would totally ruin that cellar bar. Hey buddy, how are things?
Prague is getting more dangerous to take a planned, unplanned walk in. You end up drinking the whole evening and that was five years ago. Maybe it means I've been here too long or long enough. Depends how you look at it. I met a girl tonight who has a broken thumb so she can't dance too much. She must have been a poet. Hey buddy, how are things? Operation Walk Home from Smíchov accomplished. And happy birthday my friend. And after Iceland we'll share some poetry in September. And maybe see you at Marco's where I'll bring some mustard to read with my sausages. Hey buddy, how are things?
I'm wondering if I should go to Žižkov where there is beer and a logged-off Skype session. I figured I would check if the bars still exist. That's okay. I'll find beer elsewhere. Perhaps the ones in the fridge could be opened. But anyways, I have a question. What's the longest you've ever gone without sleeping? Because a professor of mine once said, "Sleep deprivation is the best inspiration a poet can get." So I guess I've been inspired for 36 hours. And now my heart is racing and my eyes are wide and I should sleep but I want to write. Get out the pen my friend and become dangerous.
It's the longest it's ever been since 20 years and back then that was when I was trying to stay awake in a Serbian prison. And that was when during the Balkan wars my parents realized that their innocent little son had a spectacular talent for getting himself into trouble as soon as he left the country. Hey buddy, how are things? I'm always up for a good circus. Are you near that cellar bar? I need the Calvary because Agnar is giving up. Yep. Hey buddy, how are things? Are the pubs already closed? Has the cellar shut its doors? I have a total of two beers to last me until Tuesday.
My friend, when do you come back? Let me know when you get in so I can give you a proper welcome. I have been starved of poetry readings. Hey buddy, how are things? I'm currently unpacking the Icelandic dysfunction, drinking in a place with shades because it's looking rainy. I'll have it ready this evening when I see you at Marko's. Hey, do you know any one word in English for sticking your tongue out? It's just ula in Icelandic, yet another example why Icelandic is more advanced than English. And galva in Ferois, you can choose which one you'll adapt into English.
Galva or ula, I'll let you choose. Hey buddy, how are things? You don't happen to be near me, would you? I just finished being near there, and just finished some beer there, and beer inspired writing and was hoping to find somebody for a beer here. I hope you had a good time at the pen, and happy birthday. I hope you will find some mustard for those sausages, my dear friend, my good friend. Hey buddy, how are things? I'm sicker than a cat in bed. You probably got cat vid 19, probably. But happy new year, and happy new year, my friend. How's life in Žižkov?
Does the beer taste of freedom or worry? Let's see tomorrow what we have not yet figured out. Hey buddy, how are things? And at what time are we meeting? 11 a.m., you said? The Poets Union will never recognize the existence of time before noon. And how soon will you be back in Prague? The word on the street is that you may be on the street, perhaps drinking in Krymská or that cellar bar. I love that question. Maybe I can convince myself to come just for one poem. And happy new year, friend. Happy new year, my friend.
And this year we will raid the cellar bar with writing and drink entire notebooks and make poetry accidentally. Hey buddy, how are things? Finally recovered, just in time for morning. The cellar is empty and tempting. I'm with an Icelandic girl and of course I should introduce her to you, a shady poet loves other shady poets. Three years of constant rejection takes a toll. I'm also licking my wounds. Are you going to Marco's tonight? I have a poem about teeth I will read. And hopefully we will manage to be productive enough to get together and then do nothing. Hey buddy, how are things?
I'm in Iceland for a few hours and I wanted to see if you've ever been here. I'd like to try being here with you here. Gargle a gull, you know. A gull? No. Please no. Please. Any other beer but gull. I thought there would be more ice here. We keep the ice hidden. You need to get cozy with the locals. But you're there and I'm not there. Hey skitter, how are things? That's Icelandic for I wish you were here. I learned it because I'm with Agnar and we are having a good time here. Mandu, at what godforsaken drinking establishment are you picking up such foul language? Hey buddy, how are things?
Mr. Downtown, I request your presence on the Charles Bridge. We are taking pictures of it under this new soft snow and we will send photos of it to the Prague Post and then sell all the snow to the tourists who will pay in euros and then we can open a weed kiosk under the bridge as trolls. Hey buddy, how are things? Take care of Praha until I get back. And whereabouts are you traveling? To a river spot outside the city to dunk this head in. There's a child at the bar playing an old typewriter, I'll just assume it's yours.
Oh, and drink a poem from me there outside the city when you dunk that head of yours in. Hey buddy, how are things? I don't remember anything and I can't read my own handwriting. I don't know why I do this. Hey buddy, how are things? I'm on my way to the airport and will be back for Markos in a few hours. Hey buddy, how are things? Are you in Prague over the holidays? I'm thinking of having some hot chocolate and cookies at my place. Hey buddy, how are things? I hope to see you soon but it might be a while since I'll be going home. Hey buddy, how are things?
So this is it, I'm not fit for chemo and have only weeks or hopefully months. Hey buddy, how are things? I'm leaving the hospital to enjoy whatever is left at home. Hey buddy, how are things?
