OBJECT:PARADISE (O:P) is an artist collective established in Prague in 2018 with a single core objective: to make the literary arts an accessible experience. Our curations are interdisciplinary — poetry, actions, performance, and music — designed so every visitor has their own individual, subjective experience. O:P:TV is an algorithmically free, sovereign archive for the OBJECT:PARADISE community — preserving our poetic and cultural artifacts outside of conventional corporate platforms. It has been live since June 2026. Open the deck.

In June 2026, YouTube permanently deleted the O:P channel — the footage and metadata we had curated since 2018 — and barred us from making another. Rather than rebuild on a platform that could erase us again, we built a channel we own. The full story is in the blog: Our YouTube Archive Was Deleted.

Our primary goal is to maintain a decentralized, self-governed directory of artists, poets, and collaborators. We aim to document our collective history while fostering new cross-border connections without relying on algorithmic feeds.

No. Every tape in the Archive plays for anyone who walks in — no login, no paywall, no watch history held over you. An account only matters when you want to do more than watch; see “What can I do with an account?” just below.

Anyone can watch and learn about the O:P Archive. An account gives you a little more control on how you navigate it, especially if you’re part of the archive. A free account lets you talk in Discourse, comment and save tapes, react in the community feed, make mixes and curations of tapes, keep lines and write found poems, put your city on the Globe, and message any poet to plan your next language happening.

Accounts which aren’t tied to the Archive yet start as Supporters. You become a ✓ Verified Poet when your work is in the archive: claim your profile in the Directory, get printed in KROTCH, or get a tape accepted.

Mixes and curations are tapes you collect, made by anyone, like a playlist. My Archive is your own work: the tapes you’re credited in, your KROTCH pieces and photographs, and everything you’ve sent us.

Lines come directly from the transcripts of tapes in the O:P Film Archive. What a wild bunch. Users can save lines, take them out of context, and create new found poems.

No, and we don’t want to. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no paywall and no sponsored posts, and we will never sell your data. Nobody pays to be in the archive and nobody gets paid to run the archive.

O:P is run by OBJECT:PARADISE, z.s., a Czech non-profit association, on our own time and our own money. That being said, we do occasionally seek public funding from institutes to maintain running costs.

No ads, ever, and no recommendation engine deciding what you should watch next. The archive sets the cookies it needs to function, plus Google Analytics only if you consent to it in the cookie banner — decline and nothing analytical follows you. A huge part of our approach towards the arts and the O:P Project is about giving agency back to the viewer so their subjective experience can be prioritized. So when viewing O:P:TV or O:P Live, we don’t want you just to watch the views, but we want you to look at them, manipulate them, and make them yours. We’ve installed a video effects system (triggerable by pressing X) which shows all the video effects you can apply to any video being played (press 1–6 for effects). You can also jog each video like a real VCR by pressing the , and . keys or by pressing the tape wheels next to the video play bar. Oh, and the best part? Any mix you do, you can also save on your profile to show people how you manipulated and remixed a video on the archive. To do this, just click C to open the Camera mode and record all of your edits. Click C again to save, and then you can choose to show the video publicly or privately on your profile.

Yes — the archive installs as an app. On Android and desktop Chrome an INSTALL bar appears once you’ve actually spent some time here; on iPhone it’s the browser’s own Share → Add to Home Screen. Installed, it opens full-screen with no browser chrome and the O:P mark as its icon. It is the same site either way — nothing is downloaded for offline viewing, because the tapes stream from the archive. We don’t have a traditional app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store because they charge wild amounts and have insane demands about the content they host. Frankly, it goes against our Manifesto.

Yes. Every poet profile has a MESSAGE button, claimed or not. Messages to an unclaimed poet wait in their inbox and are delivered the day they claim their profile — a time capsule, in effect. Unclaimed inboxes hold ten messages, so make yours count.

Sign in and open My Archive → Submit. You can send a tape to O:P:TV, a piece to KROTCH, photographs, or sound. Everything you send shows up under Submissions, where you can see where it stands, change it, or take it back.

A Supporter’s tape has to be made with a Verified Poet; tag them in the form. Our best advice is still to watch 100 hours of O:P:TV first. We shoot on VHS, we don’t like polished films, and we work in our community.

KROTCH is a monthly 16-page samizdat-style zine: we prioritise work from Prague or about Prague, and no names appear in the print copy — that one is the zine’s ethos, not an oversight.

Nothing is public until we accept it, and until then you can withdraw it from Submissions. Accepted tapes and sound are kept permanently on Archive.org under the OBJECT:PARADISE label, so make sure everyone in your recording agreed to be in it and that you have the rights to the sound. If you change your mind later, send a Curatorial Request and we’ll talk about taking it down or blurring a name.

Sharing the archive is the best way you can support the archive. If you’re interested in working with us on a project, send us an email. No film or media from the O:P Archive can be used without explicit consent from us.

Verified Poets are individuals who have participated in O:P events, collaborations, or are recognized community members.

To become verified: when registering an account (or via the poet directory), submit a “Claim Profile” request. Our admins will verify your identity. Once approved, you gain access to the Global Network Map and extended profile features.

Or get printed. Any signed-in account can submit work to KROTCH, and if we place your piece in an issue you become a Verified Poet along with it — credited on the site, with contributor copies in the post. Worth knowing before you send: we prioritise work from Prague or about Prague, and no names appear in the print copy — that one is the zine’s ethos, not an oversight. You can see everything we’ve printed so far.

Or get on a tape. Verification means your work is in the archive, so putting work in the archive is a route to it: submit a video. If we accept it, it becomes part of O:P:TV — and a Supporter whose tape lands gets upgraded to Verified Poet with it, credits and all. A Supporter’s submission has to be in collaboration with a Verified Poet, so this is the route for people who were there: you filmed the reading, you played the set, you have the tape nobody else kept.

You can and we encourage it, but we want to make sure the OBJECT:PARADISE Archive — along with O:P:TV — is a coherent and consistent representation of the Manifesto and the community who helps sustain it. Our best advice to submitters is to watch 100 hours of O:P:TV — preferably while in both comfortable and uncomfortable states of being, mind and physical.

Things you’ll notice during that exploration: we shoot on VHS; we don’t know how to edit films; we work within our community; we don’t shoot perfect shots or capture perfect sound; we like concerts and actions and poetry readings and performances and drinking beer and filming all of it — oh, and Žižkov, of course.

If you think you have a video which suits all or some of those variables, we have two pathways for users to upload videos:

• Supporters can submit videos but must be in collaboration with a Verified Poet (someone who’s already listed in the Poet Directory).
• ✓ Verified Poets can submit videos of themselves — but of course are always encouraged to collaborate with other poets in the network.

Submissions can be made on this page, and should include the title of the work, a description, the associated poets info, and why you think the film fits O:P:TV. If you have any questions, shoot us an email and we’ll take it from there.

Please note that all videos accepted for submission will be uploaded permanently on Archive.org under the OBJECT:PARADISE Label — so please make sure you have consent and applicable rights for anything and anyone that’s featured in your video.

KROTCH Mag is our monthly 16-page samizdat-style zine of community-based (f)art. We read poetry, visual work, comics, photography, and general nonsense on a rolling basis — through the SUBMIT form on the KROTCH page. You’ll need to be signed in, to have read the Manifesto, and to be at peace with the fact that your name will not be printed in the physical copy (kind of our thing). Prague-based and DIY work especially welcome.

A Supporter account is anyone — you sign up under your first and last name and you can chat in the Discourse, message poets, build tape shelves, and put yourself on the Community Map. A ✓ Verified Poet is someone whose work is actually in the archive: claim your profile from the directory, an admin checks you are who you say you are, and your account becomes the archive’s record of you — galleries, credits, lore, the works. Supporters who later end up on a tape get upgraded, name and all.

The fastest way across that line is to bring something. Get a piece into KROTCH, or submit a video — a Supporter’s submission has to be in collaboration with a Verified Poet (tag them in the form), which is exactly the situation of someone who was in the room with a camera. If we take it, it goes into O:P:TV under your credit and your account gets verified with it. Verified Poets can then submit videos of themselves, plus the rest of the kit: the Global Network Map, galleries, lore, and Mix Cam on tapes you appear in.

Yes — collaboration is the whole point. We’ve curated events, screenings, and interdisciplinary happenings across Central Europe with partner collectives. If you’re a venue, festival, or collective who wants to work together, write to info@objectparadise.com and tell us what you have in mind.

KROTCH is print-only and sold for 50 Kč — less than a beer — at select locations and through dealers across Prague. The KROTCH page has the full story and every issue; you can read all of it online in Explore KROTCH. Tapes and other artifacts turn up at our events. Everything is hand-made in small numbers, so it comes and goes — if you want something we’ve run out of, let us know.

Yes, and please tell us. Credits are curated by hand, tape by tape — and the Poets Directory, the Network Map, and the search index all read from them, so an uncredited performance is a poet missing from the whole archive. Email info@objectparadise.com (or use the Curatorial Request button on the tape) with the tape and the name as you want it spelled, and we’ll correct the record.

Use the CURATORIAL REQUEST button on the tape in question — that keeps your request attached to the material it concerns. If it spans more than one tape, or you would rather not say it in a form, message the O:P Team directly. Sovereignty over the archive means nothing if it does not extend to the people inside it.
