CHECKING YOUR INVITATION…
We're cleaning the mold from our VHS tapes to be displayed in a brand new archive of all things OBJECT:PARADISE. Regular programming resumes on opening night.
No code yet? Leave your email above and we will remind you when the archive opens.
A statement from the collective
On 16-06-2026, we were notified of the permanent deletion of the OBJECT:PARADISE YouTube channel. In a single, automated sweep, our archive of the Prague underground's history, poetics, and experimental film was erased. Furthermore, we have been explicitly prohibited from creating any future channels.
Under the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms of this scale are legally required to provide transparent moderation, clear justifications, and access to actual human review when a digital livelihood or archive is destroyed. However, even after consultation with agencies operating under the DSA, we have been unable to reach any human response from YouTube.
But as frustrating as this news is, it didn't surprise us.
In fact, it is the exact reason we formed the OBJECT:PARADISE collective in the first place — to curate and create collective agency in the celebration of public art. Today's platforms steal this agency from us through their algorithmic biases and automated content control, which directly conflicts with our Manifesto. So we decided to take the L and to do something with it.
We have completely redesigned the OBJECT:PARADISE Archive with four objectives in mind:
And, perhaps most importantly, to keep it free, algorithmically independent, and weird.
In 08-2026, we launched the beta version of the site to select users. The official launch is on 31-10-2026 at The Prague Microfestival, Kampus Hybernská, doors at 18:00.
Thanks for all the support.

We must learn from poets. Poets can teach us. Poets are extremely good at using language, but you need to know what poetry is. Poetry is the best words in the best order. Poetry has rules. Art needs to have rules for it to be art. Poetry needs to explore new rules. Poetry tells us about our world. Poetry is a freedom you can place. Poetry allows us. Poetry gives us. The problem with poetry is that it has to mean something. Poetry has to come from within. It has to be from somewhere sacred. Somewhere that you learn about yourself. Poetry is a tool to learn about yourself.
And it's also a tool to teach about yourself. Poetry is something sacred, something that should be kept and protected. Poetry is a national artifact. And is a reflection of the culture that we want to live in. Poetry is the ideal language. Poetry should have some way to express yourself. Poetry should be shared by everybody. Poetry should have some literary meaning. Poetry because you have the same idea, some literary ability to transform. Poetry should be a lecture. Poetry should teach. Poetry is powerful. Poetry allows you to accomplish the world. Poetry is everything.
Poetry is the best language in the best order. Poetry is the proof of grammar. The poetics of grammar is poetry. Poetry should be explored in a new way by people who know how to explore it. Poetry is a tool to use to educate. We must learn from poets. Poets can teach us. Poets are extremely good at using language. Poetry is the best words in the best order. Poetry has rules. Art needs to have rules for it to be art. Poetry needs to explore new worlds. Poetry has us at our sacred place. Poetry is freedom, not terrorism. Poetry allows us. Poetry isn't. Poetry gives us.

On a more serious note though, I think we're forgetting the issue of solitude. On a more serious note though, I think we're forgetting the issue of solitude. On a more serious note though, I think we're forgetting the issue of solitude. If you're just at home writing and not seeing anybody, then we're just going to be writing about our ass all the time. If you're just at home writing and not seeing anybody, then we're just going to be writing about our ass all the time. I think in a weird way, for a writer at least, poetry readings are a subtle workshop.
I think in a weird way, for a writer at least, poetry readings are a subtle workshop. I think in a weird way, for a writer at least, poetry readings are a subtle workshop. I think in a weird way, for a writer at least, poetry readings are a subtle workshop. Occasionally, a poem will only work on paper or only work read out. Occasionally, a poem will only work on paper or only work read out. But most of the time, it's like you read the poem for a crowd, and okay, then you get it. But most of the time, it's like you read the poem for a crowd, and okay, then you get it.
Then you get what the fuck your poem is about, you know?
Poetry sucks because...
One. If you're reading on the train, they're the poet. The one looking out the window has no need for poetry. The world isn't a poet. A poet is a mistake, a mistake in the middle of an accident. Poetry is not for others. Poetry sucks because it's complicated and uses old words and old themes and doesn't rhyme these days. And if it's not rhyming, how do you know it's good? If it's not rhyming, how do you know it's good?
Poetry sucks because it's embarrassing. I wouldn't tell you I was a poet, even if I was a poet. And I'm not a poet. I'm reading this for a friend. Why is it important to really be there, to see the poet? That's because when you read a text, you can think about the author. It's a really cool person because it uses high quality language.
I don't know, he or she is really clever and cool and something. But when you see the real author, you can see that he or she is actually a loser. Like somebody like you, you know? And you can really relate to the person, and that's important. You can contact the poet and you can tell him or her, like, you are such a loser. But I could connect with you. So now we can be friends or whatever. I can invite you for a beer, a warm Braník, because you are a loser.
Grand souls now forming the train over soul in the shape of a drag on the grand soul. Grand souls now forming the train over soul in the shape, in the shape, in the shape of the train over soul. In the shape, in the shape, in the shape of the train over soul. In the shape, in the shape, in the shape of the train over soul with drag on the train that flies over the land. The poet is fire instead of god, god damn fire, god damn fire, god damn fire. The spit, the spit, the spit, the spit, he come, he swallowed. No, spit, he come, he spit, he swallow. No, I mean god damn, god damn, god damn fire.
No, I mean I'm being serious. The dragon spit, the spit, the spit, the dragon, she the dragon. The common soul of everybody, the common soul of everybody. Everybody the common soul, the soul of common everybody. The everybody of soul common, everybody the common soul. Being ignited, being ignited, being interrogating, being people wild with poetry. Making people wild with poetry. Making people spit wild with poetry. Making people dribble with poetry. Making people vomit with poetry. Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo, Pablo.
Hey Pablo, we got a question for you. Yes. Hey, how do you feel about this event, all these people, what's going on? Is it just a party or are we getting to a point here? I think we're getting to a point. I mean it's like, it's the first time in a while that I've been surrounded by so many people that are just making things for the sake of making things and not really with like a big goal in mind, which is kind of like counterintuitive from what you asked. Because you asked if we're getting somewhere, but I think just by virtue of not trying to get anywhere, we are kind of getting somewhere.
Context, poetry.
Look at me, look at me. What is poetry? What is performance? What is poetry? Performance is poetry. Deformance, reformance, why? The live performance is just now, it's really about experience, it's really about what you have to say to these concrete people, to these concrete eyes from the audience, to these concrete persons. And it's more intimate, but it's not forever, it's like temporary. It's temporary in a way, it's more powerful. Michael, Roman, Michael, I'm talking to you. Okay, we're arriving in 30 minutes. We really respectfully express that they allowed us to do this fucking shit.
So you better clean everything before you arrive. So now it's a quick 30 minute action of cleaning all the mess we made. So all the stickers, everything needs to be clean, okay? Yes, okay. Thank you very much. Yes, let's do it. Okay, so this is the best space you can imagine. Before I send you photos of the outdoor space where the events can happen as well. Here's the one entrance that you can go upstairs by the stairs. So you have the old cinema room, which is going to stay in the same state as it is. So it's a great opportunity maybe for TVs or some performances, wherever.
And then we have probably a little backstage here, could be a backstage with toilets for us. There are also toilets downstairs, but the building is under renovation, so they will be working later. Here is an amazing room, which the old projection was happening from here. So you have all these little windows for the main cinema room, which is awesome. And then you go downstairs to the main cinema room, which is here. This is the corridor. It will be all cleaned up from all the shit here, only the chairs upstairs.
I'm thinking about poetry as something restricted, something somehow determined by the limitations of genre or the hierarchies of cultural values. It's a little bit like a conformist ritual, peeling an orange. And maybe we need to stage a kind of orange revolution to return our discourse to the notion of possibility that poetry is associated with before the formalization of the philosophy of the state. Because poetics always had to do with bringing into being and making possible a sense of possibility. And it's no accident that old man Aristotle and old man Plato went to great lengths
both to codify and formalize and create a system of judgment about poetry and previously to exclude poetry in the first place from the state and force it to come begging for admission. My dad won't come out of the garage anymore. There is just enough room to slide bowls of soup under the door which he spits out through the window. I keep his broken teeth in a garden basin. Occasionally, I build a hospital from them or I place one under my tongue and say "Happy birthday, Kevin!" who make the young men gather behind the big dispenser in white shirts, their faces smeared with pure mud.
It's a production drill. They reassure their relatives from the city. Learn your lesson good. You can't own the illuminated vision. You can't own the illuminated vision. You can't own the illuminated vision. It begins in the conventional. Storefronts, suits, taxis, then a kind of night falls. Every glass pane in the city tunes in to a different frequency. They're trying on their Carl Sandberg gears, making the tide slip out there, a mind in dialogue with a skeleton smoking a cigarette. It begins in the conventional. Storefronts, panes, taxis, then a kind of night falls.
Every glass suit in the city tunes in just like everyone else. And all this ear in your suite strung out like a bridge telling you there's got to be some other way out of here. It begins in the conventional. Storefronts, cells, taxis, then a kind of night falls. With a black alley in his face, he closes his eyes and wakes up on a ton of rubble. Every part in the city was born with a skull in his head. It begins in the conventional. Storefronts, dollars, taxis, then a kind of thing stares you in the face till one day, fingers creeping over the stops and bounds.
Hurry up, Cain, you've got to murder your point of view. You can't buy, you can't buy, you can't buy, you can't buy. It begins in the conventional. I would finally like to establish this hierarchy of the poet, whatever, poetry and context. So I think that context is at the top of the hierarchy. And then poet and poetry, they kind of don't relate at all. Like, poet would be a mean to influence this context with the context he or she is bringing into the context. And the poetry, if it exists, whatever it is, it would be just a tool which a mean uses. But basically context is everything.
Is this the poetry we're hearing? We are always performing. Poetry, what is it? Does it exist? What was the question? It doesn't matter actually. I won't answer anyways. There's no answer. I love the connection between fulfilling my basic needs, eating banana, eating and talking shit about poetry.
Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? Do you hear me? You manipulated the masses, you gave up the education, you put the money first. Just stop pretending to be a god. Have you forgotten that you are just same puppet in this game as me? It should be written in the Bible. The story when the king stood up from his throne to make his last decision. Put a woman on the throne. Thanks to her we exist. Let us praise her as she praises us. Let us glorify as she glorifies us.
Let us follow her as she has followed us for centuries. If we say her, I mean, we say ourselves. Maybe we can reformulate the question for what is poetic. Because, you know, poetry itself has many, it's using many different mediums than just like written form or performed form. It could be like sound poetry or it could be like processual poetry, you know. So when we came back to the roots of like what is poetry and is it poetic, then, you know, like dance can be poetic as well. Theater can be poetic as well. Song can be poetic as well.
So maybe the manner of the question is like what does it means to be a poetic. Poetry is everything. Poetry is not a thing. I'm a modern person with a digital device and that's complicated. Poetry is now available now. Poetry is a sky like hot dog juice. Do you think so? Yeah. According to Sky News, poetry is poetry ages better than your face. Poetry is not golf. Poetry is a viral virus in a cocktail dress. Poetry is this. Poetry is that. Poetry is the sound of wine flowing carefully on the wooden toys. Poetry is the smell of wet wood and the taste of burned wood.
Poetry doesn't land. It lands. I repeat, poetry doesn't land. It lands. I have no idea if you guys can hear me, but this was important and you missed it. Poetry is an unattended banana. Poetry is an unripe book in the sun. Poetry is the sound you make when no one is here to hear you fall. Poetry doesn't grow on trees. Poetry unraises unborn children. Poetry is under no circumstance. Poetry is a smoking gun in your bubble bath. Poetry is. Poetry isn't. Show me some blood. Show me some blood. Show me some goddamn motherfucking blood right now. Motherfuckers. Show me you're not dead.
I think, because I was also thinking about, does there have to be, you know, any written language for it to be poetry? And for me, I think poetry is anything that triggers your awareness of your own aliveness or mortality or everything that's transient, which is everything. And I think that, you know, like, yeah, eating a banana. This is poetry. Just sitting down. This is poetry. You know, every moment that you're conscious or just moments that you witness or, you know, the visuals around you, as long as it's triggering some contemplation. I think that, to me, is poetry.
Poetry is a smoking gun in your bubble bath. Poetry is a smoking gun in your bubble bath. And we are here fucking everything. This street, you are running, and we all fish to be fish skulls. Motherfucking fish skulls.
[Music] [Applause] Give her a round of applause. Poetry is subjective. Life around us is objective. This was a very beautiful evening that we've shared. We've sat here for, I think, like an hour and 45 minutes, maybe two hours. Really hard-hitting questions. Simple, but also nuanced. This is the purpose of this event, this weekend, this performance, all of it, was why do poetry readings feel so inaccessible? Change poetry readings with performance, with any kind of art, gallery visits, museum visits, or whatever. And how can we close that gap?
I don't know if we've came to any conclusions. We've come to some kind of consensus. Consensus of context is important. The audience creates the meaning. The audience is the poet. An objective form of poetry may not exist. We can try to promote an objective form of poetry, but it may be destructive to getting new people outside of the circles to join the community. I want to thank this community for joining us tonight in this conversation of what poetry can and can't be. In about 15 minutes, we're going to open up the stage to have an open reading with whatever we want to do.
Thank you very much. And thank you to all of our panelists who sat here and watched me look like a jackass. Thank you for you guys. In Poetry at Prioritize, like, promotes fuck poetry. Fuck poetry. Fuck it all. Fuck it all! Fuck it all. I'm pretty!
Tell me I suck!
Tell me I suck!
Sacky tits and wrinkled penis. Yes, I've seen how they nangle their succulent wet tits.
Tell me I suck!
