A statement from the collective
On 16-06-2026, we were notified of the permanent deletion of the OBJECT:PARADISE YouTube channel. In a single, automated sweep, our archive of the Prague underground's history, poetics, and experimental film was erased. Furthermore, we have been explicitly prohibited from creating any future channels.
Under the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA), platforms of this scale are legally required to provide transparent moderation, clear justifications, and access to actual human review when a digital livelihood or archive is destroyed. However, even after consultation with agencies operating under the DSA, we have been unable to reach any human response from YouTube.
But as frustrating as this news is, it didn't surprise us.
In fact, it is the exact reason we formed the OBJECT:PARADISE collective in the first place — to curate and create collective agency in the celebration of public art. Today's platforms steal this agency from us through their algorithmic biases and automated content control, which directly conflicts with our Manifesto. So we decided to take the L and to do something with it.
We have completely redesigned the OBJECT:PARADISE Archive with four objectives in mind:
And, perhaps most importantly, to keep it free, algorithmically independent, and weird.
In 08-2026, we launched the beta version of the site to select users. The official launch is on 31-10-2026 at The Prague Microfestival, Kampus Hybernská, doors at 18:00.
Thanks for all the support.

And one time I was sitting there alone, drinking beer, naked. Do you think now that we should just be naked all the time? This is OBJECT:VAULT.
With me is Natalia Różycka, who just opened her exhibition at SVĚTOVA 1. So one year ago, before coming to Prague, I heard this theory that nudist movement helped queer movement to build its own structures, because people were going all around Poland to go to the seaside and meet each other and exchange information like where you can go, where you have clubs, where you can feel safe. And I didn't know if this theory is true, but I thought it's nice to try it out, because I also love nudist beaches, so yeah, you can check. And in your zine you mentioned some stories, some are from the archives,
some are stories from your friends, and there's a story about trans men who actually felt very comfortable with his body during the nudist beaches. Can you tell us a little bit more about it? My friend is from Poland, and in the past he was also going to gay sauna, so before he kind of was in public spaces naked, but he was always covering his private areas to go there. And then one year ago, when he was visiting me in Prague, we decided to go to Hostivař, to nudist beach, and at the beginning he was really scared, but then he was like no, I want to experience it, and he undressed.
And actually nobody cared, and I felt like it's like that on some of those nudist beaches in Prague, that you have like those queer people, and like straight people, but like from my experience in Poland, sometimes it makes some kind of hard situations. But here, like for most of the times, you're not feeling danger, so yeah. It was like perfect experience for him, he felt as a part of the nature. Because you told me a story of this picture, can you please say it again? It's story from Hostivař, they have nudist beach there,
and there is gay bar, it's called Buda bar, and actually it's like amazing place, where you have like this old Czech wooden building, but then inside you have like a lot of gay people, gay bartenders, they're putting music for Spotify, like pop hits, you can add your own music. And one time I was sitting there alone, drinking beer naked, and one guy approached me, and he said that he's photographer, and he would like to make photos of me, because he see how my boobs are reflecting in the glass of beer. And I said yes, and so it's my memory from Hostivař. It's super cool.
Do you think now that we should just be naked all the time? But I feel like as much nudist beaches as can be, they should be like more and more and more. And do you think the nudist beaches have different feelings now than they had before? Yes, like nudist movement was really like really big in '70s and '90s. It was like, you know, this like cheap way of spending time in different ways. So it was like really big community that wasn't only alive during the summer, people were also like organized some events during the winter in swimming pools.
And there was like two nudist magazines in Poland that were actually produced in Łódź, in my home city. So it was much bigger. But after like capital started, people started to go abroad and etc. They weren't that interested in spending time naked. And also like then I think like those conservatives vibes with, you know, like church started to be really against nudist beaches. Nudes, way of spending time nude. So it's changed a lot here. I think especially in Poland, I think here it's like more free. And in Poland, you no longer have that many nudist beaches.
What about the rules of the nudist beaches? Do you have any like set of rules on each one? Or it's just like word of mouth that people know how to behave and what to do if they should fuck in the grass or not? So like I think like when naturist was like really big movement in the 90s, there was like rules what you should do on nudist beach and should not. And for what I'm taking from those like rules, like taking over environment, like taking charge after yourself, like not taking photos of other people who naked and like be aware of the space and the comfort.
And yeah, but I think like we have different beaches and if some are meant more to fuck, it's nothing bad. Thank you so much. If there is anything else you would like to add about your exhibition?
I don't know. Yeah, you can just film her how beautiful she looks. Thank you very much.
