Your account is created straight away as a Supporter. The O:P team reviews this claim by hand — we'll message you privately to confirm it's really you before the profile is accredited to your account.

Go by your first and last name — it's how you appear in chat, comments, and messages across O:P. If you're later verified as a poet, your profile is linked to your name as listed in the archive.
